Hi i’m Jamie, a dedicated talking therapist and registered healthcare professional with over a decade of experience across multiple disciplines.
My passion lies in researching and practising effective psychological interventions; with a particular focus on helping fellow healthcare professionals overcome work related stress and potential psychological burnout.
I hold further specialist interest in helping athletes and amateur sports people alike with sports performance. I have experience of working with professional sports men and women; from golfers to runners, footballers to martial artists. I also work with teams in both the sporting and healthcare environments, encouraging them towards collaborative success.
Away from work, I enjoy keeping up with psychological research, astrophysics, running, football, hiking and motor sport. As a husband and father to two young girls, my time spent on the running track or hiking the South Downs trail is limited, but I find joy in balancing work, family and personal interests.
I believe in continuous learning and professional development to ensure that I provide a personal and effective service to clients. Below are the qualifications that support my work as a therapist and practitioner:
I am committed to maintaining the highest standards of practice and ethical conduct. My professional registration and affiliations reflect my dedication to ongoing development and adherence to industry standards:
At Sports Sanctuary, I also specialise in tailored services designed to improve performance, well-being, and mental resilience across all levels of sport and fitness activity.
